A Case of Classi Kaposi's Sarcoma

Abstract
|
|
|
kaposi's sarcoma (KS) is a multicentrically developing vascular neoplasm with with four types of clinical manifestation. One of these, classic KS is clinically characterized by late onset, chronic course and radiosensitive.
We report a case of nclassic KS in a 72-year-old male. This patient complainted of purple patches and dark purple nodules on sligntly edematous lower legs. The histopathologic sections from the lesional sites showed infiltration of spindle cells
with
newly formed vascular slits, dilated blood vessels and aggregated hemosiderins in the dermis. (Kor J Dermatol 1995;33(2) : 369~373)
